How much does an architectural rendering cost?

A professional still image typically ranges from roughly €150 for a simple, template-based render to €1000+ for a complex, art-directed hero image. Every project is quoted individually, send us your brief and we will come back with a firm price within one business day.

What affects the price?

The main drivers are scene complexity, quality tier, the number of revisions, and usage rights. A large mixed-use exterior with full context costs more than a single furnished interior; a campaign image licensed for national advertising costs more than a web-only visual. Render time is no longer the deciding factor, art direction and architectural accuracy are.

Are there package deals for multiple images?

Yes. Most clients order batches of 5–20 images for a project, and we price packages progressively, the per-image rate drops as the volume grows. We can also bundle stills with animations or 360° tours for a single project rate.

What are the payment terms?

Standard terms are 50% to start the project and 50% on delivery. For larger, long-running engagements we can agree on milestone payments. We invoice in RON, GBP, EUR or USD and accept bank transfer.

Timelines

How long does an architectural render take?

A single high-quality still typically takes 1 to 5 working days depending on complexity, scene size, and revision rounds. Animations and real-time walkthroughs take weeks, not days. We agree a clear delivery schedule before starting, and we hit it.

What if I’m on a tight deadline?

We regularly handle rush projects. Tell us your deadline at the first conversation and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable, then prioritize your project accordingly. Rush options are available for an additional fee.

Technical & Delivery

What resolution and formats will I receive?

All deliverables come in high resolution: typically 4K or higher, in the formats you need for print, web, and large-format displays. We deliver JPG, PNG, and TIFF as required, plus video formats (MP4/H.264, ProRes) for animations.

Do I get the source files (3D scene) or just images?

Standard projects include the final rendered images and their license for your stated use. Source 3D scenes are available on request for an additional fee, useful if your team needs to continue working with the model in-house.

How many revisions are included?

Every project includes a defined number of revision rounds, typically one, so you can refine materials, lighting, and composition with confidence. Additional revision rounds are billed transparently, and every change request is confirmed in writing before work begins.

Do you use AI? Are your images real 3D or AI-generated?

Both, deliberately. We use AI where it genuinely helps: concept exploration, denoising, and post-production acceleration. Every deliverable is built on real 3D geometry with physically based materials and lighting, so the imagery is architecturally accurate and consistent across a series. Can AI do this cheaper and faster?

For a single throwaway concept image, sometimes yes. For professional, buildable, art-directed work, no. Generative AI still hallucinates structure, drifts across a series, and cannot execute parametric feedback. You are not paying for render time; you are paying for judgment, accuracy, and reliability. 360° Virtual Tours & Virtual Staging

How does a 360 virtual tour work, and where can it be hosted?

We build an interactive 360° experience of your space that viewers can explore by dragging, clicking, or in virtual reality, perfect for real estate listings, showrooms, and hospitality projects. The tour can be hosted on your platform, embedded on your website, or delivered as a standalone link to share anywhere.

Virtual staging vs. physical staging, what’s the difference?

Physical staging means renting furniture and photographing it on site, expensive, slow, and immovable. Virtual staging adds realistic furniture, decor, and styling to your 3D renderings digitally. It costs a fraction of physical staging, can be changed in hours, and lets the same room appear as multiple lifestyles for different buyers.

Do you sign NDAs? Is my project kept confidential?

Absolutely. We routinely work on unannounced developments and are happy to sign an NDA before you share plans or reference material. Confidentiality is standard practice at IMBA Atelier.

How do we communicate during a project?

You get a dedicated project manager and clear milestones. We work over email, and can jump on calls or video meetings whenever needed, most of our international clients work fully remotely, across time zones, without friction.
